	However, if you end up going down to paddle the Royal Gorge, the water warms up considerably...and a drytop might be a bit much. If I were going, I'd take a drytop for sure...and maybe a shorty. July is usually pretty dry and hot in BV. You're in a high plains desert. Awesome place. Used to work out there and would go back in a heartbeat if I suddenly lost my family for some reason (God forbid).
