I plan on using it to run down upper yough and other class IV creeks and class V rivers. I think the limit for a play boat on a creek is about class IV to easy V. Thats for me though. It all depends on your skill and courage,
(AKA stupidity). On a river you can run V's in a fun no problem, assuming of course you have the skills needed to run V!

Some people run play boats down the lower meadow in WV class V+ to VI!

It will suit your purposes very well. You can easy run the Upper Gauley and the Upper Yough in that boat as well as having fun with it on the Lower Yough and easy creeks like the Cranberry.

Go for it!
