This post is in reference to the following link and to hopefully clear up the water about the "0" issue:

Several local paddlers have told other paddlers to read the visual gauge on the Adako Bridge as "0" being the center mark beside the number zero (the painted numbers are 6 inches tall).

FYI this is not the correct way to read the gauge according to Wilson Creek Virtual Gauges.  The Gentleman who created the painted gauge on the bridge is also the gentleman who has created the wilsonvisual web site blog.  The gauge should be read as "0" being the mark at the bottom of the number.  Please see the below links for details:
