Better place to live for boating: Chattanooga or Knoxville?

I'm moving to one or the other and curious what you think.
Seems like Chattanooga might be a better option since the Ocoee is so close and always running.
Are they both pretty decent cities even without the boating opportunities?

That kinda depends ...... mostly on what type of boating you do. I'd say Knoxville and here's why
