note I wish LL/Daager/WS/Pyranha would make a "topo-duo".... New

I have toyed with the idea of buying a topo-duo for quite some time.  My wife's skills are not quite the same as mine.  I would really love to take her on rivers that she would not do herself (Ocoee, Nolichucky, Lower Yough for examples).

We used to ride a tandem road bike and it was the best "equalizer".  I could pedal my brains out for 50+ miles and not have to worry about dropping her, and she could pedal at her own pace and enjoy the scenery.  We could both enjoy being outside and together, even though we approached it differently.

I have never actually seen a topo-duo in real life.  Do they sell them in the states?  I've never seen one at NOC, ERA, GOP, etc.  Maybe if one of the US manufacturers would build one, they would sell?  Don't know.

Anyways, I guess the point I'm trying to make is that if I could put my hands on one or see one in a store, I would probably buy it.
