	I live out here in Davis, CA... about 10-15 minutes west of Sacramento, and everything she just said up there is absolutely 100% true. The South Fork is overrated and people here aren't as friendly as the south... but I guess I'm kinda used to that, having grown up in PA (pretty much the same mentality here and there). But yeah, I've had to put more effort into finding a boating community here than I ever had to in the southeast... where it was absolutely everywhere it was practically unavoidable and everyone was so welcoming and inclusive to newcomers. Thought I'd also chime in... her post inspired me.
