If you never had a problem with Yakima racks, how do you know they stand behind their products?
I have a 8 year old rocket box that is cracking apart. The tie-down bolts have rusted and frozen, and rather than get me 2 dollar replacement bolts I would have to buy the new tie-system for $60. I was able to get new rubber feet for the rack when I finally lost one after they kept falling off when taking the rack off a car.
The only way I got their bars to stop spinning in their mounts was to drill and tap a bolt thru the mount into the bar. |
