i agree that blogs are still public space. i feel that they are less looked at by rangers and the powers to be that overlook our message boards. personally i think if there is a trip report linked it is less likely to be viewed by more critical eyes. of course i can't prove this it is just my opinion. everyone wanted to jump all over chris harjes for wanting to clear some wood. i feel trip reports with incedences of carnage are more likely to be viewed as a way to say we are dangerous and irresponsible. again i have nothing against anyone who wants to put up a blog post. hell i've put up a few of my own. have i swam and had bad lines yes, but i don't think the non boating public needs to know everything. again all this is opinion and anyone can disagree. adam
