Most folks out here cut their teeth on Cherry Creek.  The only problem is Cherry Creek runs way after South Silver and it is nothing like the run.  Probably your best bet is 49 to Bridgeport and Bridge Creek if you are able to hit it.  The problem is there isn't much else around here that is anywhere near as steep as South Silver.

Another might be, ah, I'm spacing on the name, it's the creek that flows into Chamberlain's Falls near the takeout.  It's one of the only things around that would be steep like South Silver but some may argue that it is more difficult.
