and neither of them have to do with whether it would go.

1) you would probably have to run a falls twice as high to impress anyone with your skills, balls, or how nuts you are; i mean there are lots of current and former wv boaters who have run falls much higher, including two former more or less world record holders; and

2) doing it and getting caught would probably cost you the sponsors you now have and prevent you from ever getting any others, because...

the problem is the park controls the access, period. so if you can negotiate this new fine ahead of time i think everyone would wish you well, but i don't think the park will, so we'd all lose access! which probably explains why the other wv big boys have chosen not to run it, because i'm sure they knew about it.

why not just go over to douglass and run the falls there. its almost certainly more dangerous. and nobody will care if you get hurt or whatever. if you have a plausible line in mind and its a good level, i'll hold the rope for you, and maybe even follow you. of course there's muddy ck falls too, don't think there's any ban on that.

and two final things, i think the concensus is that the right level (1200-2000) is one where you wouldn't be coming out to run the B, and from speaking to people who have swum in the pool, it isn't that clean even on the left so you might want to take a swim down there first.
