although I believe it should be open access the park does not and deems it illegal. the upper b is to valauble resource to the paddling community of WV and surrounding areas. we are not talking about an obscure creek run. the b runs all the time and boaters frequent the area. I have very little doubt that it could safely be run by many, many local and non local top boaters but to ruin access would be completely awful. btw the park has a platform built right beside the falls that always has tourists on it (they will certainly spread the word). btw personnaly if someone runs it and the park gave me the choice tell us the boater who ran it or lose access- I would tell them without a doubt or help them find the person. the B is the green of the north and right now the park lets us have lots of leeway with one exception don't drop the falls. if it has been run then they did it the right way quietly,didn't jeopardize access, and obvisiously not for the publicity. now if the park gives you the go ahead believe me I'll set saftey and snag a heck of a pic for anyone.
