note before you trim your drysuit/drytop gasket.... New

I would strongly suggest that you treat it with 303 before you trim.

I recently bought a new ir double d, and was just about to trim the gaskets.  Luckily, I bought some 303, treated the gaskets, and was too lazy to trim the gaskets before using it.  I realized that the gaskets were much smoother, therefore easier to get on and off.  I don't need to trim the gaskets now. Do yourself a favor and try this before you start trimming.

note I disagree, stretching leads to fatiuge. Stretched laytex is more prone to split. poncho New
