I prefer pogies because of the feel,but up north they just are not enough except on easy runs.
I go with the NRS Hydroskin gloves because they are super thin neoprene, underneath pogies

Then as it gets colder I have a pair of their gloves that they don't make anymore but think they replaced them with the Fusion Glove
