The weekends of May 24th-25th (Basic Course) and June 14th-15th (Basic Course).

(I will be offering at least one Advanced Course in 2008 if there enough interested participants.) - Basic SWR Course completion is a prerequisite

I am also available for private group instruction. If there are particular dates or locations that would better suite you, just email me you're request and I'll see about adding them to my schedule. I will be adding additional courses later in the season as well.

I'm once again encouraging everyone to come out to the river with us one of these weekends. I guarantee a terrific time and lots of great information. If you'd like to participate in one of these courses, let me know the dates you are interested in. I will Email you a registration pack for that weekends course.

Here's your opportunity to learn the techniques and gain the skills employed in swiftwater safety and rescue. As important a skill set to master as the combat roll.

Peace,
JAH WILL

Whenever we take part in any high risk activity such as kayaking we should do all that we can to insure our safety and the safety of the others around us. The strongest plan of action is one of Preparation & Prevention. All paddlers should at the very least gain certification in BFA/CPR and take part in a Basic SWR course. Though I would recommend a WFR course and an Advanced SWR course for anyone running serious class IV-V whitewater on a regular basis.
