bigger paddlers. Plastic is a lot stronger with a groove or bend or corner. When manufactors make big boats with long "panels" on kayaks where the impact is taken, boats are going to break. I think the future is creek boating hulls has some easy to make design mods that will keep the hull some what displacement and make it almost three times stronger. I am curious to see how the everest and the large magnums hold up. Nothing is perferct but I think both of the manufactures learned a lot about creek boat hull design from the Big Gun (Riot) and the Micros (Pyranha). It is very interesting to me that there newer displacement hulled creek boats have lots more bends, corners, and grooves; and are still able to keep the hull somewhat displacement |
