I'm glad you had a great experience with CRR. I wonder how long ago you went. There seems to be a bit of a change with the new ownership. While I like the new owners (and really love their little schnauzer dog, Holly, she's SO cute!) I think it's difficult having owners who don't really understand whitewater.
I will add that the class II/III boaters were a little disappointed on the last day of the paddling, when we ran the lower Pacuare for the second day. It's a lovely river, but it's not really class II/III. Two people opted to paddle a shredder, and most of the rest went into a paddle raft because they didn't feel comfortable running that (slightly harder, but still not too challenging) section. |
