	I switched from kayak to canoe about three years ago, hoping the lower braces on a canoe would be less taxing on my almost already destroyed shoulders. I had no idea the culture of those involved would be totally different. Most of my friends involved in the sport are still in kayaks and they seem unenthused about paddling with an open boater, so that makes getting a shuttle a major issue for me. But, by and large, I think the jabs made on this board are lighthearted and joking.
