I've only done it once years ago. My friend Kim and I just saw it on our way to the Piney put-in...we knew nothing about it and just went exploring. We later figured out it was Duskin. Really cute stream...pretty mini-gorge with a trail following the river left side. A few small drops and easy slides. Some technical fun little boogie water. Nothing to worry about that I can remember. I remember following the paved road from the Piney up the mountain, turning left and driving through clear cut. 1st creek we saw we put in, instead of driving on to the Piney or Moccasin. I think that same day we were at Stinging Fork. I remember eating cheese cubes and strawberries on a rock that day. Funny what you remember isn't it? |
