...to plug lamps in by age 3, drawing my own bath water by 5 and was mowing the lawn by 7. Electricity aint a safe thing, hot water burns and those pesky blades on lawn mowers tend to be dangerous to toes. But I was taught not to stick my finger in the socket, to test the water temp with a finger before stepping in and not to mow the lawn barefoot....and I learned what I was taught. May seem like ridiculous examples, but then again, not really. |
