If I understood their basic premise, it is that the lower dose of BPA the worse it is for us? Whaaat?
I have used Polycarbonate for years in product design. BPA is a primary component of Polycarbonate. I do know that for many years scientists have used polycarbonate as one of their container materials. I've always been comfortable knowing that science relies on purity of samples. I'm guessing that if polycarb leached in any significant way, scientists would NOT use it because it would corrupt their results.
Please check it out for yourself. Here is a link to a page on the Nalgene site. It's has several links to non-Nalgene affiliated BPA related sites.

I HAVE NO AFFILIATION WITH NALGENE. I have however used them for many years and highly value the Nalgene brand. NBC (not to mention other mainstream media) has a way of making apparently big stories out of BS. They obviously think we can't think for ourselves.
If you're still worried, be sure to go home and throw out all of you canned beer and food as they are lined with BPA.
Thanks,
Ed
