Farmeralmanac allows me to determine what the wet months are going to be so I can plan ahead.  Been using it for 10+ years and it has never let me down.  I know WAY ahead of time what months are going to be wet months, but I dont use their weekly breakdown...far to vague.

Accuweather allows you to drill down into the day or night with forecasted precipitation amounts.

That being said, their all hit and miss.  Personally, I just like a good radar...I'll draw my own conclusions.  I mean, really, planning a REAL paddling trip simply means that you have nailed down who you'll be paddling with by Wednesday or Thursday.  The where comes at 5:00 on Friday when I've gotten the last look at the radar before hitting the road....tells me what direction to point the truck in.
