	The dogs went crazy over a woodpile and while standing maybe 10 feet from the pile the Bobcat slide right thru the dogs and hopped up an almost bare tree to a limb maybe 15 feet from the ground. Calmly sat there and looked down at the dogs and then ever so often straight into my eyes. It was a very cool event. I moved the dogs on within maybe a minute. We saw a huge owl that day and a lot of humming birds and yellow finchs as well. The day before-at the same area, I was on a run and passed a black bear probably 40 feet down an embankment from me. I picked up the pace right after that! DKC
