And the fact that sometimes our local rangers do start getting a little heavy handed on checking PFD's.

If a ranger is checking rafting and kayaking pfd's, then I believe the fishermen in float tubes should be examined in a similar fashion.   The float tube is a personal watercraft and should be treated the same as a raft or kayak......

And on a side note,  no floating above hwy 28??  Has anyone looked to see how pervasive the use of float tubes are up there?
