I've hauled a couple of fishermen to shore who would otherwise have been destined for a very bad time- happened to be there when they were wading in the wrong spot and got swept off downstream. The real issue out here in the PNW is not necessarily that their waders flood... it's that they flood with damned cold water and these guys aren't really dressed for exposure OR to provide flotation.
