question shopping for my next paddling vehicle. here is what I've been looking at. suggestions? New

From: watson.gp

feel free to suggest other cars or comment on what i've already got.

subaru outback
subaru impreza wagon
toyota matrix
volkswagon passat wagon

looking for something with good gas mileage, decent amound of room, drives well, and since im buying used i need something with a long life-span.

i will be buying used so the subaru is probably the only choice if i want AWD. but i've made it fine in my ford explorer with 2WD.

pros...cons...additions...anything appreciated
thanks
