question Anybody ever **hiked** the Devil's Breakfast Table trail (Daddys/Obed)? New

We're considering places for a group hike with my coworkers.  They kept suggesting hikes in the Smokies, but there's so much more to TN than the Smokies.   So they asked me to find a hike on the plateau that's not too far from Ktown.  If we do DBT trail, then we'll probably hike 4 miles and then turn around and head back to the car.  How are the views on that section of the trail?  Even when in the summer when there are leaves on the trees?  What's the difficulty of that trail?  It sounds like there are some serious ascents/descents.  Other comments?

Thanks!

note The "Point" trail to the Obed/Clear Creek junction was pretty good.  Take a side trip where you see a rock cairn ezwater New
feedback The ladders access the Y-12 climbing area. A trail continues straight off the point at the end of the Point Trail. TonyRobinson New
note Thanks, Tony.  Us retired folks didn't want to climb down that step in the Point trail. ezwater New
