Hiya!

I'm 5'5" and 140 and I enjoy paddling either the Star or 2Fun, depending on what I'm paddling.  Problem with our weight range is that we're in between the optimal weights for the Star and Allstar.  I can throw the Star around with ease, but am slower than my buddies when going downstream.

I first learned to do flatwater moves in the 2Fun and still enjoy it as a great all-round boat if you need something for multiple types of rivers (like a trip to Mexico or Costa), but in my opinion if you are going to play only, the Star would be fine and you would really enjoy how it performs on waves and holes both.  If you want an all-round boat, then the 2Fun would be fine, and it's easy to throw around too.

Make sure you get an 07 Star or newer, Jackson changed the design and these boats have an extra 2 gallons in them.  The older Star would definitely be too small for you.

Hope this helps!

Jen
