I'm similar size (only make the feet 13EE's) and I wasn't even close to fitting the one time I tried. and I really mean not even close.
I have the new Superstar and fit well in it (except that I had to blow up the foot bumps a bit because of my feet's width).
I think the new SS has more room for longer legs than the old SS but it is slicier in the bow so it has less room for WIDE feet. I liked the old SS and really like the new one.

It was easy to modify the bow fortunately: following advice I am grateful for,  I took everything out, stuffed in some foam (from a swimmers pull buoy I had) then pored boiling water on the sides of the bow and let it cool. No torches!
