My stats. 6'3" 200lbs.(I'm shedding my winter weight) 33" inseam, and size 13 shoe. I paddled an 06 Superstar for over a year and loved it. Then the 07's came out, and I was amazed. The extra volume simply provided me with more room to stay comfy. Throwing this thing around isn't any harder than the 06. Biggest improvement would be the hull. Nice and flat, with just enough chine to do the job. Spins are greatly improved over the older version. River running is similar. I use my Superstar for allot of my paddling. From Tellico to the Cheoah, and Ocoee to Rock Island. Unless the river is super steep with no play, I'm in my Superstar. Then again, I've paddled it on runs with no play and still had a good time.
