Our Ocoee funyak trips are instructional and very exciting! We maintain a 2:1 guest to guide ratio. Our funyaks are NRS Maveriks with thigh straps and footbraces. The trip lasts five to six hours. We start on the lake and work on strokes, posture and boat control. After an hour of drills we load up and head to the river. We choose a starting point for the whitewater portion of our trip based on our guests abilities. Usually, we start at Slice and Dice. We work on ferries, peelouts and eddyturns before heading downstream. Some guests are capable of running the meat of most rapids. Some need more conservative lines. We take our time.

Our funyak trip is ideal for those interested in being introduced to kayaking. Private boaters are welcome to sign their friends up and paddle along with us.
