certainly more than the "big 3" become class V rapids at higher levels. simple little rapid like any line at Groove Tube becomes significantly more consequential to be "off" at 200%. I have also seen lots of good boaters take some bad shots on the "class iv narrows". It probably would be wise to remove the Green totally from any rating scale. Very few, if any rivers' of this difficulty get run as much, have as much info available and this definately has a tendency to make folks complacent. If the Upper Yough is Class IV/+, at 2'-2.3" I mean come on?? What is the most difficult line on the UY? (in no way am I intending on downgrading the UY) I personally would say top right slot entering triple drop/national boof/left at Tommy's?? These (imo) are not quite as hard as zwicks at normal levels. Hell, after hundreds of runs on the Green and maybe 30-40 Upper Y runs, there is nothing that makes me focus like Colonel Dicks (Green), on the Upper Y at normal flows and that is a rapid that hardly gets mentioned. I think someone just hurt themselves badly at Col Dicks. Reason that I use the Upper Y as the comparison is that it was the Green of the 80's and early 90's. Just my opinions here and not really meaning to start a huge debate.
