Been divorced for 14 years now, but your issue was one of the biggest ones for me and my ex. I had a life, she refused to have one. I begged her to do things...make friends, expand on her talents, find something she's passionate about (and no, it certainly wasnt me), but she just wouldn't branch out. she resented every second that i was not doting on her, basically. unfortunately, two kids just made her crazier, not content, except now if i wanted to put time into something i was passionate about, i was CHEATING THE KIDS.
i'm sorry you're dealing with this. no way to say the right thing. my ex was never happy and i finally realized it was her own damned fault. not mine.
