	people from vermont are about as weird as they get up north. even more weird than maine people, which is pretty freaking weird. the ginseng harvest was a nice touch, only a vermonter would get fired up about a root.  next time tell them the kid is a spotted owl egg harvester and because he's so small he can scramble up into the old growth trees and snag the eggs before mama bird knows what hit her.
