Lifetime warranties protects from manufacturing defects. Normal wear and tear are not usually covered.....

If I kept my drysuit in a plastic bubble and didn`t ever wear it , then I wouldn`t buy one with a " Lifetime Warranty " , but if a manufacturer offered one I would expect them to honor it .
