it states that the "lifetime warranty" is for the lifetime of the boat, not the owner. they did the right thing by defining the terms of their warranty. i agree, if you say LIFETIME WARRANTY, and won't repair/replace it, then it is infact NOT a LIFETIME WARRANTY, but poor communication on their part. sounds like the guy isn't going to get his suit replaced, maybe NRS will make it good and repair it for him. good luck!
