I got the 4 cly....which only comes with a regular cab and extended cab....but not available in 4 door cabs.  At 160 hp...the 4 cly has plenty of power.

I also got the Prerunner for the extra clearance...which was real handy this spring with some wash-outs on gravel roads that we've had due to large rains.

I have the SR5 package but it only has cloth seats.  I think the TR package comes with a better water-resis type seat covers.  But, you can get Tacoma-specific water-proof seat covers from Toyota....which I have and recommend.  They fit great, match color tones and are way cool with a nylon covered neoprene outer section with a black rubbery inner section....great for wet boaters.

I got a Lear (Leer?) camper top that I really like as it fits in a way that prevent leaks by the way it overlaps the side panel.

Inner liner is fine but if you plan to sleep in the back, you'll need a thick pad or do like I did and put a thin piece of press board (got it Home Depot) and a piece of carpet.  The way I did it (cut to match with black carpet) makes it look like it came that way.

I like my truck.  :)
