	2003 Outback 196K, total maintenance cost so far @$2500 including tires, brakes, oil changes.  I always changed the oil religiously somewhere between 6,000 & 11,000 mile intervals, never have I bought 4 tires at a one time.  Coming up on a timing belt change pretty soon & I need 2 front tires so my total maintenance cost will probably be $3000 then.   Dunno, maybe you got a lemon, maybe I got a gem.
