Yer not a parkin' player, are you Gary?

Maybe it hasn't bin a problem for you because yer friends took up the slack with 72" racks that could make up the difference in carrying capacity?

I have certainly been in the position of having to set up an extra shuttle run because if we put all the boats on half the vehicles to get to the put in, the remaining half the cars couldn't carry every boat back to the put-in.  So we had to do a shuttle instead of just loading up, picking up the put-in vehicles as we passed the put-in, and continuing on with the road trip.  Extra 45 minutes.  Makes a difference when yer road-tripping in the northern Rockies and coverain' a lot of miles.
