I was down paddling a short paddle for a while but the leverage advantage at 200 cm
or greater is just too awesome to overlook. I have settled in to a 200 cm 15 degree
offset. It has made all my back deck rolls much easier whether
I am playboating or creeking, that is a good thing. The switch is not hard. It really will only take a couple
days to get pretty accustomed to it. I have found the trade off well worth it.
