tell him that beggars can't be choosy, and yeah, I know he's not a beggar, but he's getting a FREE boat, and boats are eventually gonna get some wear and tear, but seeing how you already know this, just splain that it's a used boat and used boats aren't pretty. I can understand that you guys ar etrying to do something cool for the kid and you already have. he's gonna love it, even with those marks on it, but he's gonn alove it even more after he put shis own marks on it
anyway, Odds are, that anything you use to try to get teh marks off might be harmful to the plastic, but if it really bugs you, then try some bug and tar remover, or some mark remover used for cleaning racquetball courts. There ar ehowever soem more powerful cleaners out there, but then again, it might be harmful to teh plastic, so whatever you use, make sure to read the warning labels.
