i could be wrong or just have not asked the right people but it seemed like there were not a whole lot of tent camping right around there, although i think there is a KOA. the place we ended up staying at was like if you took the main street to the left (north?) and went somewhere around 10ish miles there is a really nice place on the left with big grassy areas with nice showers and a place to do wash. there is an rv spot and a tent spot, but it was definetly nice sleeping. i would just ask around though if i were you...
oh yeah i just remembered the place that we were planning on staying that was in our guide book that was supposedly SUPER nice and by the river and secluded had closed down and turned into a golf resort or something...
