question St Augustine Fl. paddling week of june 1st New

From: Rocky

Is there anyone in the St Augustine FL. area willing to help a paddler from The Netherlands out?

Two years ago I was In Orlando and started to make plans to paddle with the BT locals.

I was very pleased to find that total strangers where offering to help me out.
Unfortunately the company wasn't too keen on the whole group of visitors spreading out all over Florida during our day off.
So we had to stay together as a group and vistit Animal Kingdom DOH!!!

BUT NOT THIS TIME!!!

We're in St Augustine for the whole first week of June.
And being so close to the beach there is NO WAY they can keep me off the water this time.

Is there anyone in the area willing to help a paddle surfer from The Netherlands out?

Thanks,
Ralph

Details:
will be staying in the Casa Monica Hotel
95 Cordova St
St. Augustine
Apparantly this is only 5 minutes from St. Johns County beaches.

Ariving sun june 1st (late) leaving sun 8th (early)
Thursday june 5th we're having a team building event at the Seranata beach club, I can only hope that it is surf-related. (they have boards and sea kayaks)
Saturday afternoon we're supposed to have some time on our own so I hope I can make it to the beach.
Otherwise I' d like to try and skip one of the group dinners and make it to the beach sometime during the week.

smile How far North would that be? Close to the nose biting Moosses? <NT> Rocky New
note Well...I'm going to be paddling around Lake Erie, so almost.  But I suspect... rroberts New
note It is kind of a shame though.  I'll have my sea kayak on Lake Erie, leaving two sets of WW gear... rroberts New
