when you almost drown your body goes into shock.

when you go into shock your organs shut down...including the kidneys.

when the kidneys shut down they don't get proper blood flow and seize to work properly.

the longer they don't work the more damage they take - and eventually conk out.

so, drowning is bad for everything in the body...especially the heart, kidneys, and brain....and family members.
