i cant think of ponly one new boat that i have actually used the outfitting in, a first year med. burn it was very comfortable.
on the other hand of all the boats i've outfitted for myself i've never had to fix my outfitting after every run. in fact i have very few repairs or fixes of my outfitting each year. i also don't know too many people that do their own outfitting and have to fix it after every run.
there is a huge difference in slapping some foam in there with some duct tape then actually shaping and glueing foam for an individual fit. it also ever takes me more then an hour to shape and glue knee blocks, hip pads, thigh risers, seat pad, and thigh brces.
just my experience and personal thoughts.
