	First race for me too.  Great experience!  I've never paddled so fast in my life through big water.  Only the third time in my Jefe Chico and it was really stable going through the lines. Thanks to Jose, Mike and Nate for my first run down the day and helping me figure out the lead into Bear Creek falls and the race lines. It was an accomplishment for me just to do it - non stop! (well except when yard sale hole on the left tried to suck me in... I did not sucome but did flip and immediately rolled while ferrying across the middle. :) I was under Taylor at one point and on top of her stern too.   Sorry Chica. Whose got the pictures and video? Oh even the safety boaters weren't all the way down the river and in place when we blew by them. Thanks to everyone for getting out of our way as we were coming through.  And the cheering sections too! Like Tera said - it was like tunnel vision - following the person in front of you as fast as you could paddle. - NO time to look to either side! Can't wait till next year! Margaret
