	Well...the "first annual" Boater Chick Festival turned out to be a lot of fun this weekend! We had lots of ladies show up, and even a few guys. The competitions went great (I didn't see the playboat comps but the Cheoah ladies have me fired up to race next year!). I heard lots of great things about the two playboating clinics on the Nanty and Ocoee and it seemed like everyone who participated had a great weekend! We gave away a TON of great prizes Saturday night!! Thank you to all the sponsors that stepped up to support this event and women in boating. Most impressive is that Anne was able to get this all pulled together in less than three months, with the help of a few friends. That's got to be some kind of record. My favorite part was probably seeing the crowd that came out for the dinner and awards Saturday night river-side, and meeting Bunny Johns, Boater Chick of the Year. What an honor to have her there, very cool!
