Its soooooo nasty when you come around that bend and see that rock in front of you. What the pic doesn't show well is that you enter that drop completely blind and as slow as you can go, the rock the boater is on is sloped downstream toward that ugly ass rock, the crack between the two rocks is big enough for a boat to go into, and the rock ledge he is about to drop off is about 8 feet high. At -2 the water is so slow that you can make the move pretty easily. At +1 it pushes you fast into the piton/crack rock.
Nasty rapid.

Ya, I really liked it at that low water, but I guess its because I got lucky and boofed over the sieve thing. <NT> MaseSF New

I kinda prefer the low water lines at both drops of cable... much more skill involved than the high water lines <NT> granolapaddler New
