note Two Knox (Knoxville, TN) News Sentinel articles on increased enforcement  on The Dragon (US 129 near the Cheoah) New

On two occaissions I've had motorcycles recklessly pass me on a blind, outside turn.  This is a public road, not a race track.  I'm glad to see more enforcement and I have no problem with THP sometimes placing numerous patrol cars on the dragon.  If they're really writing huge tickets for minor infractions as the second article suggests, that's probably over-board.  But I think the increased enforcement is a good thing.

We do take some risk paddling whitewater.  But we do that by choice and in a way that does not endanger others (ok, some reckless boaters do enganger other boaters, but that's something you kinda gotta expect when you put on).
