and on top of that DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO RIDE!
Problem is, when you get a license to ride a bike, there is only one type. The only way to separate the idiots from the pros is to hang out on the dragon to see who wipes out. I will agree that experienced riders are less likely to do something like that, but it doesn't excuse them from passing on that road, period. Go ride it at 3am on a Tuesday morning at 90mph, but c'mon. Summer Saturday afternoon and you are passing like that?
The point I am trying to make is that 129 is a public roadway, and it says alot about riders who break the rules about how much they think about others. If everyone in the world had as much disregard for people's safety they don't even know, kids in backseats, etc., this place would be in even much worse condition than it is already in.
Those people playing with their life is one thing, but when I am driving on that road with my son in the back seat, they need to take it SOMEWHERE ELSE. Honestly, if some wreckless biker was passing me on a double yellow and got creamed by oncoming, I would feel bad for their family, but my final attitude would be one of "better you than me".
My rule: Make sure the risks you take don't have consequences that affect others negatively. If they weren't involved in the decision you made, then they shouldn't have a fucking sprocket in their skull after you make a dumbass move.
No hard feelings towards you Tom, this is just something I am concerned about |
