Hi Folks, I was curious if anyone has had a similar experience and can give any advice. I figure BT would give a much more credible diagnosis than a doctor would ;)
This is the second time this has happened to me. After a strenuous 2 days of paddling this weekend, I have developed a very painful muscular? knot in my forearm about 2 inches back from my wrist. It is on the top inside edge of my arm. If I were holding a paddle out in front of me, the knot would be facing the other arm. It seems that all of the tendons, etc that control the movement of my hand go right through this knot. So, any hand movement or even very light lifting is extremely painful. Last time this happened on the other arm and lasted a couple of months before it went away. Have been putting ice on it to reduce the swelling.
Any ideas on what this is or how to fix it?

Good thought, but after looking, I don't think that is quite it....... ProNukePaddler New
So far, it sounds like tendonitis. peterelkon New
